We are seeking an AutoCAD Design Engineer with steel fabrication experience to work on site in Slough, Berkshire. Our Client is a steelwork fabricator and the site is a construction based project.
You will be required to be based on site in a portacabin to enable you to undertake the site survey work and ultimate production of 2d fabrication drawings involving two external staircases, 12 stepovers and a mesh pit.
Full safety gear will be required (although this can be provided), as is own laptop and AutoCAD license (although again the license can be provided if necessary).
This is a short term contract — expected to last up to a maximum of 2 weeks, although ongoing or repeat work is a potential for this client. Commencement on site on Monday, 4th October is ideally required.
Knowledge of Steelwork fabrication drawing production is essential as you will need to be self sufficient and able to produce the detail quickly.
