My client is the worlds leading specialist in the fastest growing pump type.
We are urgently seeking an engineer to design, proto-type and low level manufacture a gearbox. This would be to replace an existing gearbox that they currently buy in. This is to offer business continuity and to reduce costs.
We are ideally looking for someone with 3D CAD experience, die-cast experience and worked with gearbox design previously. Probably a graduate, who has worked in a low - mid volume manufacturing environment, and who will be cost aware in the model they are designing.
You will be expected to work un-supervised, although as part of wider team of 12.
Based in Cornwall, this contract is likely to run for a six month period.
