Purpose:
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Engineer to join a fast-growing motorsport business based in Peterborough. The business is experiencing unprecedented growth and these roles are required to ensure that designs are completed on time to automotive standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing solid models, complex surfaces and deriving 2D designs
- Develop the BOM on PDM
- Using low carbon steel, FRC and aluminium
The Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role/position
- Qualified to ONC/HNC or equivalent
- Proficient in SolidWorks and Solid Edge
- Have a good understanding of a wide range of materials
- CAE and stress analysis
- Can work under pressure, autonomously
- Must be a team player
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and timeframes
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable in a small team
The Package:
- Flexible package to suit Candidates, including working remotely
- Full time and Contractors will be considered
- Rate will be dependant on experience
