CAD Technician
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months
The Job
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join a small team in Peterborough.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and amend 2D and 3D CAD drawings in line with project and client requirements
- Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and technical briefs
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control standards are met
- Liaise with engineers, project managers, and production teams to resolve design issues
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, regulations, and company procedures
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software – AutoCAD 2D, Revit.
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
