We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician to be a part of the HS2 Scheme. Starting on a fixed term 12 month contract (with the potential to increase), our Client is looking for a self-starter able to prepare engineering drawings in 2D and 3D from given designs - based at their office in Uxbridge, London.
The high-speed rail link infrastructure project is currently the largest in Europe and when finished, will connect London to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. This is an excellent chance for an experienced Technician to be part of such a valuable and exciting project.
The successful Candidate must have the following;
- A minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Proficient in the use of Bentleys Open Building (Aecosim) in both 2D and 3D
- Must have experience within the construction industry, especially tunnelling and some knowledge of BIM
- Be a self-starter, with an eye for detail - a team player, flexible with working duties, outgoing and friendly
- Able to commute to Uxbridge
