You’ll be joining a small design team and you won’t just be a number on the employment register - instead you’ll be a valued, and vital, engineer developing new products and extending the range of equipment the business is known for throughout the world.
As a key member of a growing business, you will be an inspirational engineering leader, chief designer, and NPD Manager with responsibility for the product design and development function ensuring that the company has a ranger of desirable, high quality, compliant, reliable, and commercially competitive products.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and mentor a team of skilled mechanical and electrical design engineers
- Launch successful products in line with the company-wide NPD process
- Manage creation of clear and accurate technical documentation necessary for the specification. Manufacture, testing and support of product throughout its lifecycle
- Design and oversee practical functional test’s reliability tests and user trials
- Manage delivery of continuous improvement to products, documentation and processes via customer feedback and change request systems
- Ensure compliance to international markets and standards
- Provide engineering design support to the rest of the business.
