Graduate Project (Contracts) Engineer
We are looking for an enthusiastic engineering graduate to join a successful business, for a great opportunity that will allow you to learn whilst supporting the existing engineering team. You will be joining a distinguished industry specialist with over 30 years experience and growth in their field. They are a contract provider of M&E design, planning, installation and maintenance services to customers.
Key Duties will include:
- Assisting with tender preparation for customers. Evaluating the project requirements and finding mechanical solutions to the customers needs.
- Assisting in the development and presentation of project proposals
- Attending site meetings to monitor project progress
- Working with third parties to ensure high project performance
- Making sure installation projects conform to technical standards
- Liaising with technical and financial staff, sub-contractors, legal teams and client representatives.
Person Requirements
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
- Ability to multitask across several projects
- Personable with ability to maintain good working relationships.
- Basic AutoCAD skills
-Hold a UK Driving licence, with access to own transport
Salary is circa £25,000 per annum. The company is based in Peterborough and you are expected to work from their offices. The company offers a great bonus scheme, and great career opportunities.
