The Job:
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals for the design, manufacture, installation and management of process plant across a wide range of industries.
The job includes:
- Preparing project costings by analysing 2D drawings/3D models, product specifications, scope, basis of design, and other project information/ documentation as input.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates of all plant and process elements and assemble them into a total project, costing spreadsheet, for major and minor capital plant and process equipment, modifications and upgrades, spares, and services etc.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure effective information gathering and exchange throughout pre-sales processes.
The Person
We are looking for someone with proven experience in costing and estimating. Industry knowledge is essential, and confidence/personable manner is vital as you will be a key contact for customers.
