Sales and Marketing Assistant
So, you’re outgoing, friendly, love to chat and can hold a conversation with someone you don’t even know, never mind met before - right? You fancy a sales role but don’t fancy sales targets. You want the fun parts of marketing and business promotion – you don’t want the reports, trackers and relentless pressure to make sales, sales, sales. You’ve got passion, creativity and lots of ideas - that’s the easy part. What you need now is to find the right role with the right people. And maybe, that’s us.
We need a new edition to our small team. Someone who’ll dedicate 100% of their time to business development, customer engagement and marketing activities.
You’ll be un-incumbered by large administrative tasks and be able to focus on building and developing relationships with new and existing customers alike.
We’re not a call center, and definitely not looking for a pushy salesperson. We’re simply looking for someone who’s happy to make introductions and open dialogue with engineering businesses.
Our attitude is simple. We know our service may not suit, or be needed by, every business. But we want every potential customer to know who we are and what we do. And this role is all about that – helping us to spread the word, build awareness and spot opportunities. Sounds good so far? Great. Here are the headline responsibilities:
- Calling companies to promote our CAD and Technical Recruitment services.
- Creating and distributing electronic marketing literature in the A4 Plus style and voice.
- Social media promotion and management to boost engagement.
- Identifying, and acting on, potential sales opportunities.
This won’t be boring – there’s lots to do and we’ve got a wealth of opportunities ready and waiting for you. There’s no sales script, but we’re here to help and guide you in this interesting, varied and dynamic sector. Don’t worry – we’ll soon have you speaking about ‘all things A4 Plus’.
Oh yes, also worth a mention - this could be a full or part time position, we’re happy to flex.
You should have a creative flair, a can-do attitude and a really friendly, clear telephone manner. Of course, you’ll need to have a basic understanding of digital marketing and be IT savvy. Give us a call to find out more.
