An emerging clean-technology organisation is pushing the boundaries of renewable fuel and chemical production through cutting-edge hydrothermal processing. With a mission to transform waste into sustainable fuels, the team is developing scalable, commercially viable solutions that address some of the world’s most pressing energy and environmental challenges.

The Job

  • Operational Leadership - Oversee daily operations across production, logistics, and administrative functions, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant workflows.
  • Team Management - Lead, coach, and motivate staff while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimisation - Implement systems, policies, and best practices that enhance efficiency, productivity, and resource utilisation.
  • Project Execution - Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and project teams to support the timely and high-quality delivery of multiple projects.
  • Compliance & Safety - Maintain adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards across all operational activities.
  • Budget & Resource Management - Contribute to financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet both strategic and operational targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, operational KPIs, and ongoing process improvements.
  • Reporting - Prepare clear, actionable operational performance reports for senior leadership.

The Person

We’re now seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our growing business. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, strengthening team performance, and ensuring seamless execution of projects within a rapidly evolving environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years’ experience in operations or project management, ideally within renewable energy, clean tech, or industrial production.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and driving operational excellence.
