Our client is looking for a temporary Administrator to provide Administration support to the Purchasing department. This is a 2 - 3 month contract with the possibility of progressing into a permanent position. The rate of pay for this role will be £9.62 per hour and the position will be based in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing admin support to managers
  • Providing admin support to the Purchasing department
  • Filing documents accurately and securely
  • Archiving documents appropriately
  • Finding correct drawings within company files
  • Providing customer service to clients on the phone and via email
  • Checking part numbers against stock lists
  • Sending information to clients and suppliers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Administration position
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum of Grade C in Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent

Desirable but not essential:

  • Purchasing experience
  • Basic CAD design knowledge
  • Engineering/technical background or qualifications
